The U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stopped short of acknowledging the genocidal killings of Christians in Nigeria as deserving of attention.
Blinken, who is currently on an African tour that would end on Jan. 26, arrived in Abuja late Tuesday.
He and Tinubu dealt with issues, such as food security and investment opportunities. Yet, the security threats in Nigeria which should have been on the front burner were ignored.
The recent massive unhindered attacks on Christmas Eve in Plateau State, which was first reported by TruthNigeria, shows that Tinubu’s government is failing in its promise to protect civilians.
But Secretary Blinken was more concerned about American tech experts driving a tech revolution in Nigeria. This, he said, would be of mutual benefit to the U.S. and the West African country.
