Readers Applaud the Brave Reporting of TruthNigeria

Hear that sound coming from the Atlantic coast of West Africa?

It’s not a hurricane or a monster wave. It’s the voices of people who are echoing the sigh of relief voiced by Christians who hope that winds of change will come to persecuted Christians in Nigeria.

It’s a fact that the “Truth will make you free,” and since the launch of TruthNigeria 18 months ago, thought leaders on both sides of the Atlantic are feeling it. No one knows better than the Nigerian people that a genocide against Christians has been on the loose, but TruthNigeria has outed it.

Trust the word of Dr. Gregory Stanton, founder of Genocide Watch, near Washington D.C., who has written,

“TruthNigeria is a news organization, not an advocacy organization. It is the most reliable source of news about Nigeria in the English language.

“All TruthNigeria stories are fact-based and sourced to online sources such as government agencies, think tanks or mainstream Nigerian media. All TruthNigeria stories include interviews with sources whose full names and titles are published. In Nigerian newspapers, this is not common. Genocide Watch, a non-partisan human rights organization, relies regularly on Truth Nigeria to give us fair and balanced news about Nigeria.”

THOUSANDS OF LIVES SAVED BY ALERTS

TruthNigeria publishes Security Alerts to warn unsuspecting rural residents of impending attacks by armed jihadists, often 24 hours in advance.

“Two months prior to the devastating ‘Black Christmas’ attacks in Plateau State in December, 2023, we identified 30 communities targeted for total annihilation and notified them of likely threats,” according to TruthNigeria senior editor Masara Kim. “Although these communities were eventually attacked, our alerts ensured that barely 10 percent of residents were present when they happened,” Kim reports, adding: “thousands of fatalities were avoided.”

TruthNigeria was among very few agencies that sent reporters into the dangerous war zones of Kaduna and Benue State in 2024, but because they were there, the Nigerian military suddenly inserted troops to defend the victims.

The Federal Government deployed Nigerian Army to protect Ayati residents after TruthNigeria’s report (November 13, 2024).

And Kidnap Victims got relief after horrific kidnappings in Kaduna:

Local community leaders in Nigeria’s Middle Belt are among the news sites biggest fans. In reaction to our story about massacres of Christians in Benue State, the paramount ruler of the Guyuk Local Government Area in Adamawa State sent this text to online newspaper publisher Tom Garba: “We like this story, the way and manner they detailed it. By the way, who are the owners of TruthNigeria? They write their stories with in-depth analysis.”
