A 15-man gang of criminals attacked Gbaupe, a remote village in Nigeria’s capital Abuja, Sunday night, whisking off 12 people, including a 9-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl to an unknown place.

An eyewitness said the gunmen operated freely between 12:15 a.m. and 2:46 a.m. “Twelve people were kidnapped, including three young people and women,Vanguard reported. Two men later escaped. This is the third incident this year,” he said.
