Urgent Terror Alert: Increased Threat South of Jos, Plateau State

Credible intelligence obtained by TruthNigeria indicates a high probability of mass terrorist attacks in areas approximately 30-40 miles south of Jos, the capital of Plateau State, effective immediately, October 25th, 2025.

Affected Areas and Recent Activity

The primary area of concern is situated along the border of Barkin Ladi and Bokkos counties, regions that have experienced escalating terror raids in recent weeks.

In the early hours of today, October 25th:

  • Fulani-speaking terrorists ambushed a group of Christians on a motorcycle near the town of Hurum, tragically killing two women.
  • The attack followed a shootout with military troops 8miles away in the town of Kantoma, located in nearby Mangu county which resulted in mutual casualties.

Following the engagement with the troops, the terrorists were reportedly overpowered and have dispersed into the sparsely forested area.

Compromised Villages

The following Christian villages are assessed to be at risk due to the terrorists’ dispersion:

  • Nghar
  • Ruku
  • Hurum
  • Mai Yanga
  • Daress
  • Tenti
  • Mai Jankai
  • NTV
  • Kazok

Precautionary Measures

All residents and security agencies in the affected villages and surrounding are strongly advised to:

  1. Exercise extreme caution.
  2. Report any suspicious movements or individuals immediately to security agencies.
  3. Take all necessary precautionary measures to ensure safety.
  4. Avoid late movements especially in lonely areas
  5. Have an evacuation and/or self-defense plan
  6. Share this alert with others
