SECURITY ALERT: TARABA STATE

BREAKING: Ongoing Village Burnings on Mambilla Plateau

MBAMNGA, TARABA STATE — Houses are reportedly being burned in Mbamnga community on the Mambilla Plateau in southeastern Taraba State, near Nigeria’s border with Cameroon, as attacks continue in the area.

Local sources told TruthNigeria that movements of armed Fulani ethnic militia have been observed around the community. These reports have not yet been independently verified.

Residents of Mbamnga and neighbouring settlements have been urged to remain vigilant, avoid isolated areas, and immediately report suspicious movements to security authorities.

– Avoid unnecessary movement, especially at night.

– Know nearby safe locations and evacuation routes.

 Residents should exercise maximum caution and prioritize their safety.

  1. Until there is no more open grazing, violence like this will continue in Nigeria. Behind every outbreak of violence involving a Fulani, you will find that it is because their cattle grazed on someone’s farm.
