TruthNigeria wishes to advise residents in central Nigeria to remain vigilant due to credible intelligence indicating plans by terrorists to carry out armed attacks in villages located 15-20 miles south of Jos, the capital of Plateau State. Credible sources indicate that targeted locations include Lawuru and Nafan, situated in the Fann district of Barkin Ladi county.
This area has been regarded as one of the safer regions for Christians, thanks to the robust community resistance against such threats. However, this resilience has made it a target for repeated terrorist attacks over the years. Recent violent incidents, including a series of coordinated road ambushes from October 8 to 10, resulted in the tragic loss of at least 12 lives among the Christian community.
Residents are urged to stay alert, report any suspicious activity to local authorities, and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and that of their families.
