A deadly attack in Nahuta village, Batsari county of the Katsina State resulted in the death of four farmers and the kidnapping of eight others.
The farmers were attacked on Saturday (Dec. 15) while they were harvesting crops from their farmlands.
“The suspected bandits attacked the farmers and opened fire on them, thereby killing four and injuring one; they also abducted eight others,” the police confirmed on Sunday (Dec. 16). One of the farmers escaped, albeit, with severe injuries from bullets.
