On the heels of the insecurity, championed by jihadists, rocking Nigeria, Mohammed Idris, the minister of information and national orientation, has said the authorities are maintaining an aggressive posture against the armed groups.
“All threats are being boldly confronted. We are taking the fight to the criminals’ dens, with promising results,” Idris said via a statement on Sunday.
He assured Nigerians that security agencies are working round the clock to end the unending crisis in Plateau State and other troubled areas in the country.
“The resurgent crisis in Plateau State is indeed highly regrettable, and we assure that all perpetrators of violence there, and everywhere else in the country, are being brought to book,” the Minister stated.
