Bandits murdered seven locals across the villages in an all-too-familiar raid in Mchia, Arufu and Chembe villages of Logo County in Benue State of Nigeria.
The unprovoked attack also left scores injured while several others have been declared missing.
Mchia was attacked on Sunday morning while Arufu and Chembe villages were raided at night, according to Nigerian media.
The bandits mounted a roadblock for commuters in Chembe, shooting with reckless abandon. Many people suffered varying degrees of injuries.
