URGENT SECURITY ALERT: Armed attack reported near Jos, Plateau State, Central Nigeria. Ongoing violence 40 miles south; casualties unknown.

Earlier attack on January 6 in the Bokkos county resulted in fatalities among displaced residents.

Military informed, but gunfire continues as of 10:20pm.

Residents in the surrounding areas should remain indoors and exercise caution. Stay with TruthNigeria news for updates.
