President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja Tuesday night after spending nearly two weeks in Paris, France.
The President’s jet touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at exactly 9:00 p.m. local time, according to Nigerian media.
On the day of his departure, Tinubu’s spokesman Ajuri Ngalale said he was embarking on a “private visit”, and availed Nigerians no further information.
TruthNigeria reported that the trip came on the heels of a horrible spate of massacres in Plateau State that began on January 22. Many Nigerians berated Tinubu for leaving the country amid the escalating security threats.
