Troops Eliminate 5 ISWAP Terrorists in Borno

Four Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists fell to military firepower on Sunday, March 3, Zagazola Makama reports.

The troops of the military task force codenamed “Operation Hadin Kai” (OPHK) gunned down the terrorists in an ambush.

The Nigerian military laid the ambush on the unsuspecting terrorists at Moula village in Borno State, according to the Nigerian media. Moula, is the insurgents’ logistics base at Ngala which is 77 miles from the capital city of Maiduguri. During exchange of firepower, four terrorists were killed.

The Nigerian military also killed a terrorist on a sole attack mission near a military base in Bama, the second-largest town in Borno midway on the road between Maiduguri and the Cameroonian border, at about 2:00 a.m. local time on March 4.
