Nigerian Troops Eliminate Daushe, Top Aide to Slain Terrorist Leader Buharin Yadi

In an operation in Giwa County (Local Government Area) of Kaduna State, Nigerian troops have killed Daushe, an alleged ally of the recently slain terrorist leader, Buharin Yadi. The operation was conducted by troops of Sector 6, Operation Whirl Punch on Sunday.

According to a statement by the Nigerian Army, Daushe was killed in action during a special patrol operation in Kidandan, where he was spotted fleeing on a motorcycle to evade approaching troops. Troops pursued and engaged him, resulting in his death.

The specific nature of Daushe’s ties to Yadi remains undisclosed, but his death is considered a significant win in the fight against Boko Haram. There were no reported casualties among Nigerian forces during the operation.
