Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, addressed the nation on Democracy Day, June 12, 2024, offering reassurances about the fight against insecurity.
In a goodwill message delivered by Acting Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, General Musa acknowledged the ongoing security challenges faced by Nigeria. He assured Nigerians that the military will defeat enemies of the state.
General Musa expressed optimism about the fight against insecurity, stating that “victory is in sight.” He appealed to Nigerians to maintain a positive outlook and support the military’s efforts in combating all forms of terrorism and criminality.
He further recognized the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces deployed in various operations across the country while appealing to all Nigerians to remain positive towards the challenges facing the country and to support the military in the fight against all acts of terrorism and criminality.
