President Bola Ahmed Tinubu departed Abuja on Monday afternoon for a “brief work stay” in France, according to local media. The trip comes just three days after he returned from a three-day official visit to Equatorial Guinea.
In a statement on Sunday, Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed the President’s travel plans. “The President will embark on a trip to France on Monday, August 19, departing from Abuja, the nation’s capital. The President will return to the country after his brief work stay in France,” he stated.
No further details on the President’s agenda or duration of stay in France have been released.
