TruthNigeria has just received a Security Alert about an ongoing attack on Ukpiam Community, the headquarters of Mbabai Precinct in Guma County of Benue State and it’s environs by armed Fulani Ethnic Militia.
Ukpiam, an Agrarian and a predominantly Christian community, is located 32 km North of Makurdi, the Benue State capital and 10km South of Yelewata, where more than 200 were killed on June 13 & 14, 2025.
Ukpiam is the only surviving town in the whole of Mbabai Council Ward (Precinct) in Guma county and has come under frequent attacks by Fulani terrorists who usually come from neighboring Giza, Kadarko, Awe, Keana, Doma in Nasarawa State. On July 24 and 27, Fulani terrorists gruesomely murdered 3 Christian farmers in Ukpiam.
Other Communities that should seek shelter include Daudu, Ortese, Ukohol etc All the Security Agencies are by this Security Alert, called upon to react swiftly in order to nip the impending attacks in the bud.
