Troops of the Nigerian Army operation dubbed Multinational Joint Task Force and Operation Hadin Kai killed five terrorists during a raid at the settlements of the Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) in Borno State, Northeast Nigeria.
The clearance operations in Ngurnoa, Gumnari, and Nairawa villages met no resistance. The terrorists fled their enclaves on sighting the soldiers to avoid being killed.
In Amburam village the outlaws put up a plucky defense, but they were overpowered. They subsequently retreated after five of their men were gunned down.
