Summary: The recent Christmas Eve Terror attack in parts of Plateau state, Northcentral Nigeria, has further exposed the vulnerabilities of minority groups and laxity of security agencies in Nigeria. The attacks which took place for over 24 hours resulted in the death of over 200 persons in the various affect communities. These deaths, which some say was preventable, would have been this much if only the security agencies responded to distress calls from the victims, on time.
Furthermore if the Security agencies were proactive in taking preventive measures following the TERROR ALERT published by Truth Nigeria these killings would have been averted.
