The decomposing bodies of three police officers have been reportedly recovered by security operatives in Delta State.
According to Sahara Reporters, the policemen went missing since January 24 after they were deployed to avert a herder’s attack in Horror village in Ughelli North County.
The police teamed up with local civilian guards and combed the bushes in search of the missing officers. Luck smiled on them on Tuesday as they located an abandoned hut where the mutilated bodies of the officers lay.
The security operatives also discovered three more unidentified decomposing corpses. Police authorities say they are working hard to track down the killers.
