High Court Judge, Wife, and Orderly Taken Hostage by Boko Haram

Boko Haram terrorists abducted a High Court Judge, Justice Haruna Mshelia, his wife, driver, and orderly in Borno State, Northeast Nigeria. This incident took place on Monday, June 24th.

Sources revealed that the judge was traveling in his vehicle, accompanied by his driver, a security escort, and his wife when they were ambushed by the terrorists along the road connecting Biu and Maiduguri towns. As their vehicle neared a bend between Buratai and Buni-gari villages, armed men emerged from the bush and blocked their path.

In a frantic attempt to escape, the judge’s vehicle tried to maneuver away but was stopped by another group of insurgents. The terrorists then took them hostage and vanished. This abduction is just the latest in a string of attacks by Boko Haram in Borno State.
