A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jet has bombed terrorists, including a notorious bandit leader Kachallah [“Boss”] Damina in Zamfara State. Damina, from Kankara county in Zamfara, commands thousands of terrorists who raid communities in Zamfara, Kebbi, and Sokoto States, killing wantonly.
NAF reportedly struck the terrorists on their way to attack Corner village in Bungudu county on March 10. They rode on 58 motorbikes as they headed to the village. But the military launched a sneaky airstrike on them.
“More than 50 bandits were neutralized with several motorcycles destroyed. This attack was the biggest and one of the most devastating against the bandit groups in this area in recent times,” a source said to Chad Basin security and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama.
Zagazola Makama commenting on Damina said, “He was known for his savagery and for committing heartless attacks and gruesome killings. In one instance, Damina removed a child from a pregnant woman and killed it. And once he captures his victims, it is either the ransom was paid at the time he requested, or they got killed.”
