The Nigerian Police Force has intensified its hunt for two notorious bandits called Modi Modi and Jan Kare by offering a cash reward of N50 million (US$31,599.81) to anybody with a tipoff that could lead to their capture.

Modi and Kare are the masterminds behind most terror attacks in Kankara and Safana, two of the worst-hit counties by Fulani terrorists in Katsina State, police authorities said on Sunday.

“All concerned citizens are encouraged to come forward with any relevant details that could assist the security agencies in apprehending the masterminds behind these heinous crimes of kidnapping and banditry,” the police press release stated.

The police encouraged anyone with information about the bandits to share, promising confidentiality and protection of the informant.

“This reward serves as a testament to our dedication to ensuring justice prevails, as the issue of security is a collective responsibility,” it added.
