SECURITY ALERT: Intelligence suggests attacks imminent to villages in Bachi District

Credible intelligence indicates that the perpetrators responsible for recent terror attacks across Plateau State are regrouping. Their current location is identified as a camp in the Bangai-Fulani area, in close proximity to the scene of the latest attack of July 15 in Bindi Jebu village of Riyom county.
There is a high probability of an impending attack on villages within the Bachi District of Riyom Local Government Area, anticipated either tonight (July 15, 2025) or in the early hours of tomorrow (July 16, 2025).
Targeted Villages Include:
Bangai
Rachi
Dum
Lwa
Fang
Shonong
Dum
Neighboring communities are advised to be on high alert, including:
Rinyan
Gwon
Wereng-Rim
Torok
Gwol-Hoss
And other surrounding villages.
