House‑to‑House Attacks Underway; Residents Urged to Take Cover Immediately
TruthNigeria and Equipping the Persecuted (ETP) have received credible intelligence confirming that Fulani Ethnic Militia (FEM) are conducting active house‑to‑house attacks against Christian farming communities in Otukpo Local Government Area under the cover of darkness.
Attackers are reportedly avoiding gunfire to prevent alerting nearby residents. Instead, they are moving from hut to hut, knocking on doors and killing victims with machetes, according to field sources monitoring the situation.
FEM fighters have been sighted in the forests around Ikobi, Ojantele, and Ataganyi, from where they may kidnap travelers along the highway or launch fresh assaults on nearby communities.
Militia Sightings and Movement
FEM fighters have been sighted in forested areas surrounding:
- Ikobi
- Ojantele
- Ataganyi
From these positions, they may:
- ambush travelers along nearby highways,
- infiltrate Christian farming communities,
- or launch additional night‑time assaults.
Residents have raised concerns over the apparent absence of any significant deployment of military personnel or Mobile Police in the affected areas.
Communities are urging the Federal Government to immediately deploy the Mobile Police Force and other security units to Otukpo, Adoka, Ugboju, Ojantele, Ikobi, and surrounding communities to protect lives and flush out the Fulani Terrorists. Residents and travelers in the listed areas are advised to exercise extreme caution, avoid isolated routes, and report suspicious movements to community leaders and security agencies.
