As of 8:24 pm NIGERIA time, on August 9, 2023, there is a credible risk of imminent attacks in communities located 20 miles south of the capital city, Jos.
Reliable sources have indicated that dozens of armed terrorists, have set out from their staging grounds in three areas known as Fass, Guava and Mahanga which are all located 35 miles southeast of Jos.
The terrorists may be en route to target locations in the Heipang district of Barkin Ladi county, along with nearby villages.
If you reside in the areas of Kwi, Chit, Tapo, Mararaba Foron, or their surroundings, it is strongly advised that you take necessary precautions to ensure your safety and security. Stay vigilant and remain informed about the situation.
