TAKUM, Taraba State, Nigeria—Intelligence reports obtained by TruthNigeria warn of an imminent resurgence of attacks by Fulani ethnic militia against Tiv-tribe Christian communities in Takum County of Taraba State, following a string of coordinated assaults on Tiv settlements in late October.
Both Fulani and Tiv residents are fleeing their homes amid fears of attacks by Fulani Ethnic Militia. Coordinated Attacks on Christian Tiv Villages on October 29, 2025, at about 5:30 p.m., were launched by suspected Fulani ethnic militia. Targets included several Tiv-dominated villages — Unom, Yongugba, and Tornyi in Tati Ward, as well as Mbayongu in Chanchanji Ward.
The coordinated nature of the attack, sources said, suggests prior planning.
